Abstract:

<p>A four months field survey combining several techniques has been conducted in the coastal zone, the savana, forest and mangrove of PongaraNational Park (Gabon). This inventory has resulted in the collection of 144 ants species (Hymenoptera, Formicidae) belonging to 8 subfamilies. Among them 110 are recorded for the first time in this country. The authors discuss about the results and give several additional informations about the African distribution or litterature available on these sp&eacute;cies.</p>
