Abstract:

The objective of this study was to report the first occurrence of the parasitoid Chelonus sp. in Itumbiara, GO, Brazil. The material here studied was collected in areas of pasture and native wood in Itumbiara, using yellow pan traps from January to December of 1998 and Maldisse trap from February to November of 2000. During the years of 1998 and 2000, 34 e 15 especimes of Chelonus sp. were collected, respectively.
